BOOQUJahit Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 March 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MISO ESSENTIALS SOLUTIONS (“MISO“, “we“, “us“, or “our“) collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with the BOOQUJahit mobile application (the “App“) and related licensing, referral, support, and backup features.

BOOQUJahit is a tailoring app designed primarily for tailors in Malaysia, including both professional and home-based tailors.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

This Privacy Policy is provided for general information and is not legal advice. You may wish to obtain independent legal advice about your obligations when using the App.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

The App is provided by:

MISO ESSENTIALS SOLUTIONS

Pahang, Malaysia

For privacy questions or requests, contact us at:

Email: `privacy_booqujahit@mykewangan.com`

2. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

– Your use of the BOOQUJahit mobile application.
– Our licensing backend used to activate and validate licenses.
– Our referral backend/API used to fetch referral information and save commission payout details.
– Optional Google Drive backup and image sync features.
– In-app feedback / bug report features (including optional diagnostics you choose to send).

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services that you may use with the App, including:

Billplz Sdn. Bhd. (payment processing for license purchase).
Google services (Google account sign-in and Google Drive).
OpenStreetMap tile services (used when you open the map picker in the directory feature).
– External apps/sites you open from the App (for example email client, WhatsApp, browser links).

Those third parties have their own terms and privacy policies.

3. Where we operate and who the App is for

– MISO ESSENTIALS SOLUTIONS is based in Pahang, Malaysia.
– BOOQUJahit is primarily built for users in Malaysia.
– If you use the App from outside Malaysia, your data may still be processed as described in this Policy.

4. Data you store in the App (mostly local data)

The App is designed to be local-first and offline-first. Most data is entered by you and stored on your device.

4.1 Customer data

– Customer name.
– Phone number, email, address.
– Notes.

4.2 Measurement profile data

– Standard tailoring measurements.
– Posture/fit notes and flags.
– Custom measurement fields and values that you configure.

4.3 Orders, invoices, quotations, and analytics outputs

– Order details (garment, dates, prices, payment status, logistics notes).
– Invoice/quotation document content generated from your order and profile data.
– Business analytics figures computed from your local order/payment records.

4.4 Images

– Images you attach (for example design references, fabric photos, finished garments).
– Related metadata (notes/tags, and optional links to customer/profile/order).

4.5 Business and invoice settings

You may choose to store business profile details used on invoices and related documents, such as:

– Business name, email, phone, address.
– Business logo selection/path.
– Bank transfer details (account name, bank name, account number, notes).
– Invoice terms and display preferences.

4.6 Directory profile data

You may choose to store directory profile details, such as:

– Shop name/logo.
– Shop address, postcode, city, state.
– Map coordinates (latitude/longitude) selected by you.
– Contact number, social links, services offered.

Directory profile data is saved locally in the App and may be submitted by you to our backend directory service when you choose to save/submit your listing. Submitted listings may be reviewed before being published on public directory pages.

4.7 Feedback drafts and pending crash details (local)

When using in-app feedback/bug reporting features, the App may locally save:

– Feedback draft text and optional contact info.
– Pending unhandled error details (for example error summary, stack trace snippet, route/context) until you send or clear it.

4.8 Where this local data is stored

Depending on feature, data may be stored in local SQLite database, local files, and app preferences on your device. It is not automatically uploaded to our servers unless a feature explicitly requires remote processing (for example licensing/referral or optional Drive sync).

5. Data we collect about you as the App user

5.1 Licensing and account information

To activate and maintain your license, we may process:

– Google account identity used for licensing (for example email and account ID).
– License key/token and license status.
– License tier/plan information (for example Pro/Enterprise).
– App install identifier and technical request metadata (such as app version and licensing error codes).

This data may be stored locally and processed by our licensing backend.

5.2 Payment information

– License purchase is handled by Billplz on an external payment flow.
– We do not receive or store full card details.
– We may receive limited transaction status data required to activate/manage licenses.

5.3 Referral and commission payout information

If referral features are used, we may process:

– Referral code, referral link, referral status and performance/commission stats.
– Account identity used to match referral records (typically your Google email).
– Commission payout details you provide (full name, bank, account number) for payout processing.

Referral information may be cached locally for offline-friendly display.

5.4 Support and bug-report communications

If you contact support or send a bug report, we may process:

– Message content and contact details you provide.
– Optional diagnostics you choose to include, such as app version, platform, locale, timestamps, error summary, route context, and stack trace excerpt.

In-app feedback currently opens your email client (mailto flow). The report is sent only if you proceed in your email app.

5.5 No advertising trackers or telemetry analytics SDKs

– We do not use advertising SDKs.
– We do not use third-party behavioral tracking analytics SDKs in the App.
– Dashboard/business analytics features are generated from your app data locally, not from telemetry profiling.

6. Optional backup, sync, and third-party network features

6.1 Google Drive backup and image sync (optional)

If you link Google Drive and enable backup/sync features, data may be uploaded to files/folders in your Google Drive account, including:

– Database backup files.
– Image files synced to Drive.
– A settings snapshot (for example theme, locale, measurement unit, and invoice-related settings).

Because invoice settings can include banking and business profile details, those details may be included in settings backup snapshots when backup is used.

6.2 Map tile requests for location picking

When you open the in-app map picker, map tiles are fetched from OpenStreetMap servers. This may involve normal network metadata (for example IP address and standard request metadata) processed by that third party.

6.3 No other routine server storage of customer records

Other than:

– Optional Google Drive storage you enable, and
– Limited data needed for licensing, referral/payout, and support,

we do not routinely store your customer measurement/order/image records on our own backend.

7. How we use data

We use data described in this Policy to:

– Provide core app functionality.
– Generate local documents (measurement forms, invoices, quotations, analytics reports).
– Activate/validate licenses and enforce plan entitlements.
– Provide referral features and process referral payouts.
– Provide support and troubleshoot issues.
– Maintain app reliability, security, and service quality.

We do not use data for targeted advertising.

8. Email and support communications

We may use your contact details to:

– Respond to support requests.

– Communicate about license/account issues.

– Notify you about critical app/security/service updates.

We do not currently run regular promotional newsletter campaigns from the App experience.

9. Your role and responsibilities as a tailor

For most customer-related data you enter, you decide what to collect, retain, or share. You are generally responsible for meeting any legal obligations you may have toward your customers (for example notices/consent where required by your local law).

We recommend you collect only data necessary for tailoring work and avoid storing unnecessary sensitive or identifying data, especially for minors.

10. Data retention

10.1 Data on your device

Local data remains until you delete it (or remove the App, subject to OS behavior), including customer/order/profile/image data and settings/form drafts.

10.2 Licensing, referral, payout, and support data

We retain server-side operational data only as long as reasonably necessary for licensing/referral operations, support, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal/accounting obligations.

10.3 Google Drive backups and synced files

Drive-stored files remain in your Google Drive account until removed by you (or according to Google’s systems/policies). Deleting the App does not automatically delete files already in Drive.

11. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect data we process, but no system is perfectly secure.

Examples include:

– Encrypted network connections (HTTPS/TLS) for supported backend/API communications.

– Limited backend data scope for operational needs.

– Local-first architecture that reduces routine central storage of customer records.

You are responsible for securing your devices/accounts/backups (for example screen lock and Google account security controls).

12. Children and minors

The App is intended for tailors, not direct use by children. If you store measurements/orders for children, you are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions under applicable law and for limiting unnecessary sensitive/identifying data.

13. Your choices and controls

You can generally:

– Edit/delete local records in the App.
– Enable/disable optional backup features.
– Disconnect Google account integration.
– Delete Drive backup files from your Google Drive.
– Contact us about backend-held licensing/referral/support data.

We may require identity verification before acting on certain requests.

14. Where data is processed

– Core business operations for our app services are based in Malaysia.

– If you use the App from another country, licensing/referral/support processing may still occur in Malaysia.

– Google Drive data may be processed in locations used by Google.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect feature, operational, or legal changes. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify users (for example in-app notice or email).
